Labor Day weekend

We had a fun holiday weekend and Rena was home for 4 days... a nice treat for her! We went to her friend David's 3rd birthday party on Saturday and Rena had a blast! She loved playing in the pool and going down the big slide on the swingset. She was upset in the car because she didn't want to leave David's house. We usually go to Chick-fil-A every weekend since Rena loves the food and fun. We went on Saturday night and they were having a big football kick-off party. It was so crowded and they had a bouncy house there. Rena LOVED playing in the bouncy house and kept saying "I'm bouncing, I'm bouncing!". There were a lot of older kids in there so Rena spent most of her time falling down and getting back up! I hope she doesn't always expect a bouncy house at Chick-fil-A now! ;)

We took Rena to the park one evening since it has cooled down quite a bit in the evenings. She had a great time and even made a new friend there. There was a cute 3 year old little girl who wanted to play with Rena. The girl asked Rena what her name was and she immediately said "Rena Prengler"!! We were so proud of her! But now she thinks every family member's last name is Prengler. She calls Seema "MayMay Prengler" now. It's pretty funny! And of course when Rena says Prengler it sounds more like "Pringles". :) We also did some shopping, played with MayMay, and grilled outside on Monday. We wish every weekend could be a long one!! ;)

Rena loves going to Target and she especially loves the free samples. They had chocolate cake (her favorite) and she ate 3 samples!! She also enjoyed some of Mommy's Icee!

I wanted to get Rena a new backpack for the school year and she picked out this Disney Princess one at Target. She wore it all around the store and took it off just for a second so the cashier could scan it!

Just playing around!

We took down the bottom gate on the stairs when our friends were visiting and we haven't put it back up. Rena loves having complete freedom to go up and down the stairs!

Being silly on the stairs!

Yummy ice cream!

Here are some pics of her playing in the bouncy house. They aren't that clear since I took them with my phone:

And some pics from the park:

She's such a big girl now and does all the rides on her own!

The slide is still her favorite!

And this is just a cute pic of Rena taking a nap! I always find her curled up with her bottom in the air! Yes, she still loves to nap in our bed! And yes, she is still a thumb sucker! ;)
