All about Rena: Happy Birthday MayMay!

MayMay's birthday was on Saturday and we had a fun weekend celebrating with her! MayMay took a half day on Friday so we went into the city to hang out with her. We went shopping, had lunch, napped, and had some yummy cupcakes! We took Rena to the Disney Store at the Galleria and she was in heaven! She was so overwhelmed by all the princess and Minnie Mouse stuff. She picked out a BIG Minnie doll and a cute Minnie figure in a little pink car. I also got her a Minnie dinner set and cup. They had so much cute stuff there... Mommy plans to go back without Rena soon to get her some holiday presents! Then on Saturday MayMay came over to play and we went out to dinner with some friends at her favorite restaurant, Lupe Tortillas. MayMay and Mommy also met up with our friend Kendra for a pedicure...that was a nice, relaxing break for all of us! MayMay's favorite thing in the world is getting mani/pedis, so she was a happy girl! ;)

And here is a funny story: MayMay's friend got her some roses and a balloon for her birthday. Rena was fascinated by the balloon and wanted to hold it. So we tried to get it untied from the bouquet but it flew up into the air! Rena just watched in horror and kept yelling "my balloon, get my balloon from up in the air!". She was really upset about it so I told her we could go get her and MayMay some balloons at the store. So first thing on Saturday morning she reminded me that the balloon went way up in the air and we need to get more! So we went to Party City and Rena picked out a huge Minnie Mouse balloon and decided MayMay needed some pink ones. So Rena and her MayMay enjoyed their balloons! We had a fun weekend and hope MayMay enjoyed her birthday celebration!
