Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope all our friends and family had a very happy Thanksgiving! In keeping with our yearly tradition, we headed to Dallas Thanksgiving morning to visit Mimi, Pops, and the aunts. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Mimi really went crazy with the dessert table this year...but no one was complaining! ;) There was so much yummy food and we enjoyed the leftovers all weekend. All the girls did a lot of shopping and Rena was a trooper as usual. Everyone always comments on how good Rena is at the stores...I guess she's used to shopping with Mommy since she was very little! Mimi got Mommy a lot of nice clothes and jewelry for Hanukkah and Daddy got some clothes too. Rena got cute clothes, accessories, and several Barbie toys! She isn't spoiled or anything!! She set up all her Barbies in Mimi's study and was happy to just play in there when we were at home. We also went to Rena's cousin Gabby's house to play one afternoon. The girls play so well together and I love that Rena gets to spend time with her cousins. We had a great weekend in Dallas and can't wait to see the family in Austin next month for a family wedding! I forgot my camera so I just have a few pics I took with my phone:

All ready to hit the road on Thanksgiving! She loved her new purple dress!

We have officially entered the "are we there yet" phase during car trips! :)

Mimi's friend Allison brought Rena this cute fairy poster. Rena had a great time coloring it!

A "selfie" pic of Mommy and Rena. Aunt RaeRae taught Rena the word selfie and she loves it and keeps asking to take a selfie pic! Ha!

The amazing desserts! The cake was Mommy's favorite and Rena loved the cookies!

RaeRae works at Pac Sun in the mall so we went to visit her on Black Friday. Rena was a little shy to see RaeRae working behind the counter!

The pretty tree at the Dallas Galleria

Twirling around in the new dress Mimi got her!

Posing with Aunt Mindy and Aunt RaeRae at lunch. Aunt Becca had to work and couldn't come in for Thanksgiving...we really missed her!!

RaeRae and Rena played beauty shop and RaeRae straightened her hair! It looked so cute but my baby looked sooo grown up!

Rena loved having her hair straightened since it felt so much longer!

Playing with her fun new Barbie toys! Thank you Mimi!

Rena and her cousin Gabby. Gabby set up this cute little tea party for them complete with flowers, bananas, cookies, and "tea" (water with sugar) :)

Rena and Mimi at lunch on Sunday right before we left

The trees were beautiful with fall leaves on our drive up and in Dallas. Rena loved looking at the pretty trees and kept asking why they aren't like that in Houston! Haha!
