Rena had a very fun Halloween! They had a lunch party and trick or treating parade at school and Rena was sooo excited to wear her Strawberry Shortcake costume! She was most excited about the hot pink wig and kept asking what her friends would say when they saw her in the wig! Well, her friends at school loved the wig...it was definitely a hit! :) Mommy volunteered at Rena's class for the festivities and I had a great time too! It was so cute to see all the kiddos in their costumes. And the kids had a great time getting candy and other goodies at the trick or treat stations. Then they paraded around the school so the parents could see all the costumes. We got to take the kiddos home early after the parade. Rena had fun eating her candy and playing with her goodies. Here are some pictures from her school party (I'll do the evening trick or treat pics in a separate post!)
The cutest Strawberry Shortcake!!
Rena and her friend Lily. There were many princess costumes in her class!
Posing with friends
Rena and her teachers: the assistant teacher Ms Amanda (on the left) and lead teacher Ms Nadya. She loves her teachers and they're really great with the kiddos!
Parade time!
They decorated their treat bags in class and Rena was so proud to show me her bag!
Waiting in line for candy
She wanted me to take a picture of the back of her wig so she could see how long it was :) She kept playing with it and was in awe of her long hair!
Mommy had a little goody basket with treats for Rena. I think she looks like a sassy teenager in this picture...ha!
She took a small break from the wig since it kept falling off!
