We've been very busy this past week with dance recital events! Last Wednesday Rena had professional pictures during dance class. So we had to get all ready with hair, make-up, and costumes. Rena's class was doing two recital dances, one ballet and one tap. So there were two sets of outfits, shoes, bows, and accessories! The pictures were good practice for the weekend events- the rehearsal and recital. Mommy got very good at quickly changing the dress, tights, shoes, and accessories..which is not an easy task with a hyper 4 year old who doesn't like to sit still! :) On Saturday we had dress rehearsal most of the afternoon. Ella came with us since her parents were out of town that day. The girls had fun playing, eating snacks, coloring, playing phone games, and of course dancing! It was a long day but the girls were troopers...I think Mommy was more exhausted than they were! After the rehearsal the girls wanted to play so Ella came over for a couple hours and they had so much fun. Rena was beyond exhausted that night and went to bed very early! That was a good thing since the recital was the next day so she was well-rested. Here are some pictures from picture day at dance and the rehearsal. Recital pics to come soon so stay tuned! :)
