One of Rena's favorite birthday gifts is her new princess bike from Nani and Nana. Nani decided a few months ago that Rena needed a big girl bike so she could learn how to ride. So when Nana came in town for Rena's birthday, he assembled the bike and Rena was sooo excited! She kept trying to sit on it while Nana was building it. She tested it around the house until we got a matching princess helmet so she could ride outside. Her favorite part of the bike is definitely the baby carriage that holds her princess dolls. Rena is a girly-girl and not the most coordinated- so teaching her how to ride it has been an interesting experience! :) But she's doing good and almost has the pedaling concept down! She likes watching other kids ride their bikes around the park and gets excited that she has a big girl bike too.
Testing out the new bike- it's pink and purple and has princesses all over it- what more could my girl want?! :)
I wasn't sure if she would actually wear her helmet since she hates hats....but she loved it!
