Summer fun- week 4

We've officially been on summer break for a month now! We're in a little routine now and still staying pretty busy. This past week we started swim lessons at Houston Swim Club. Rena and I did a mommy and me class there two years ago but now that she's 4 she is in a big girl class! We started with a two week daily session where she goes everyday (Mon-Fri) for 2 weeks and then we'll do weekly maintenance lessons. Rena loves swim lessons and is learning a lot. In just one week I've seen her learn to do a back float and dive down to get a ring. She goes with her friend Ella and they both have a great time. We also went to a bouncy place with Ella and Addie, celebrated Ella's mommy's birthday at a fun restaurant, and went to our neighbor Graham's birthday party at Jumping Jungle. Rena also helped mommy pick out a pretty bridesmaid dress for Auntie Diana's wedding! She really liked the bridal shop and especially the princess (wedding) dresses. She kept telling mommy to try on more colorful dresses. Mommy had a great time with my little girly helper!  It was a fun week!

Ready for her first swim lesson!

Color coordinated from head to toe! ;)

Rena and Ella ready to go in the pool!

Swim lesson with their teacher Ms Miranda

The floating raft is her favorite part of class!

Fun at Lonestar Bounce Town

She finally likes going down all the slides on her own!

This is a blurry but cute pic of Ella pushing Rena in a little shopping cart!

Rena still loves her computer games. Our computer mouse broke so we bought a new wireless mouse and Rena loves it...mainly because it's purple!

Rena and Daddy at The Last Concert Cafe restaurant for Kendra's (Ella's mommy) birthday dinner

We learned that Rena is not a big fan of sand! She hates to get dirty so this isn't a huge surprise. She just watched her friends from a distance! ;)

Fun at Jumping Jungle for Graham's 7th birthday party

It took Rena a couple tries but she climbed up the big slide all by herself! I sent this pic to Nani and she commented how big Rena looks now!

Once she got the confidence to go down the big slide, she didn't stop! We had one tired kiddo that afternoon.

Daddy always loves a good bounce party!

Rena and her little friend Ashley enjoying their capri suns and pizza. They were the younger ones at the party, most kiddos were 5 or 6 years old.
