Summer fun- week 3

We had another busy week last week. It didn't start off very fun for mommy since she caught the stomach flu and felt bad for several days. Luckily Daddy was able to stay home on Monday to help out with Rena. He took her out to lunch and to run errands so mommy could get some rest for a few hours. Once I felt better, it was back to our regularly-scheduled summer activities. We went to the park, started summer dance classes, went to the movies, had a playdate with friends, went out to lunch, and more!

Daddy took this pic when they went to the grocery store- he let her sit in the big part of the shopping cart and she was happy! :)

Rena wanted me to take a pic of her and her doll Milli- apparently she likes pictures again!

I got her these cute new pj's and she liked them...I was surprised since she usually just likes nightgowns

Our theater shows one dollar kids movies every week during the summer- we saw Happy Feet 2 and it was really cute! Rena loves going to the movies!

It rained some this past week so it actually cooled down enough to visit the park!

First day of her summer dance class- she has to wear a black leotard for the summer class (they can wear any color for the regular class!). She wasn't too thrilled about the black leotard but warmed up to it :)

My friend Rosanna and her kiddos David and Annie came over for a fun playdate. Annie loves princesses and the girls had a great time playing dress-up. Poor David was stuck playing with the girls but he was a good sport! We went to Chick-fil-A after they played.

Rena found this alphabet train in the storage closet and just had to play with it! Our dear friends Farid and Angie got it for her first birthday...glad we're still getting some use out of it ;)

We went out to dinner at Lupe Tortilla's and Rena and Daddy had fun coloring together. I love her expression!

Rena picked out this cute ice cream cone dress at Gymboree and wanted to wear it to dinner that night!
