Last weekend we went to Dallas to visit Mimi, Pops, Aunt Becca, Aunt Mindy and Aunt Rachel. We had a nice, relaxing weekend and Rena loved seeing everyone! We did some shopping, ate a lot of yummy food, and played at home with everyone. She still follows her Aunt RaeRae around everywhere and loved playing with all of her old toys. We're glad Mimi saved all those toys since Rena loved playing with everything! She loved playing with RaeRae's American Girls dolls so Mimi decided we needed to make a trip to that store. Rena was so overwhelmed seeing all the dolls! She picked out a cute little girl doll and she got an extra outfit for the doll too. She is obsessed with that doll and hasn't put her down since she got it! Everyone kept asking Rena what her doll's name is and Rena kept saying she's a girl! So the doll's name is officially Girl! ;) She loves to change Girl's clothes every few minutes and that keeps her busy for a long time! Thank you Mimi...we love Girl doll! :) And of course Mimi got Rena some cute clothes and some Ugg boots! I can't wait until it cools down so she can wear her new boots!
Rena did great in the car on the ride to and from Dallas. She slept a couple hours and then watched her movies the rest of the time. Like I said before, that portable DVD player is worth every penny! ;) We had a great time and can't wait to go back to Dallas for Thanksgiving! Here are some pics from the trip:
