San Antonio vacation

Last week we went to San Antonio for a fun family trip. Mimi, Pops, RaeRae, and Mindy met us there and we all stayed at Westin La Cantera resort. Aunt Rebecca lives in San Antonio and she met up with us when she wasn't working. The resort was amazing and we all had a great time! And it was a special weekend since we were celebrating Mimi and Pops' 35th anniversary! We did a lot of swimming, shopping, eating, and relaxing. I think Rena's favorite part was definitely swimming in the pools. It was so hot but that didn't seem to bother her at all. We also went to Sea World but I'll do a separate post on that since there are a lot of pics! Mommy enjoyed shopping at La Cantera with Mimi, Rachel, and Mindy while Dada and Rena napped at the hotel. And Rebecca took us to some really good restaurants! We had brunch every morning at the hotel and the Looney Tunes characters were there greeting all the kids. Rena was not a fan of Scooby Doo or Sylvester, but she did like Bugs Bunny. She mainly liked Bugs from a distance though...she wasn't too happy to get close and take a pic next to him! :)

Rena and Aunt Becca- Rena kept asking to see her house so we went to Rebecca's apartment on the last night. Rena loved it...especially since there were pics of her everywhere! ;)

RaeRae and Mindy taught Rena how to "plank"! Mommy and Daddy felt very old since we didn't even know what this was. Apparently all the kids are doing it these days! ;)

The kids gave Mimi and Pops a photobook with pics from the past 35 years. They just loved it and everyone had fun looking at the book. Rena even had her own page in there!

Mimi got Rena this cute outfit! I was so happy Rena actually wore it since it's not pink...maybe there is hope she'll wear other colors now!! Notice she had to accesorize with pink shoes and a pink purse :)
