Rena, MayMay, Daddy and Mommy went to El Paso last weekend to surprise my dad for his 65th birthday! My aunt (my dad's sister), uncle, and cousins also came in town to surprise him and we all had such a fun weekend! Nana was so surprised to see everyone and he really enjoyed the weekend. Rena always loves a good party and was so excited to play with everyone. She was a little shy when she first met everyone but it didn't take her very long to warm up! We went out to BJ's Brewery on Saturday night for Nana's birthday dinner and Rena had a great time! Mommy and Daddy got to relax and enjoy themselves since there were so many people fighting for Rena's attention! :) I thought Rena would go right to sleep when we got back from dinner since it was so late, but I was very wrong! She stayed up playing until after 11 pm! We had to drag her to sleep! Luckily she slept in the next morning...which is rare these days! We also went to the outlet malls and went out to eat at Avila's on Sunday night (Mommy's favorite Mexican restaurant!). And Rena did great on both plane trips...that portable DVD player is worth every penny! ;) The flight to El Paso seemed so short compared to our 4 hour flight to New Jersey last month!
Rena was really missing everyone when we came back on Monday. She kept asking to see my cousins. My cousin Punam lives close to Orlando so we promised her we'll go visit next year and take Rena to DisneyWorld. Punam has 4 kids and Rena will have a blast playing with all of them! We also hope to visit my cousin Rahul and his wife Monali in San Francisco soon! Rena really loved Monali and keeps asking for her! Here are quite a few pics from our El Paso trip:
