Happy 4th of July!!

Happy (belated) 4th of July!! We had a pretty relaxing weekend and enjoyed some time at home just hanging out. It rained for a good part of the weekend, so we really couldn't do much outside anyways. But Mommy and Daddy did enjoy a date night on Friday night, and Mommy and MayMay went to see the play Wicked on Saturday night. So the adults got to have some fun too! ;) And we grilled out on the 4th of July and Rena had fun playing outside.

MayMay came over and stayed with us for a couple days and of course Rena loved that. She had fun playing with all of her toys. We took her to the bookstore and she picked out a couple new Dora books. One of them is a Dora potty book and she is obsessed with it! It even has a little button that you can press and it makes a flushing noise. Hopefully this will help her want to start using the potty! :) She also got some stamps and an ink pad (washable!) from the toy store. She loves getting stamps after class at the Little Gym, so we knew she would enjoy her very own little stamps. She goes around stamping all of us with pink and purple hearts and butterflies! :) Here are some pics of Rena in her festive red, white, and blue attire!

Multitasking...coloring and watching Dora!!

Now she's officially dressed in red white and blue (she did have her white sandals on but took them off!)

The water table is always a favorite!

She got this string the alphabet toy for her birthday and she loves it! She spends hours just stringing the letters on, taking them off, stringing again!  And she recognizes quite a few of the letters now!
