All about Rena: Happy Valentine's Day!

Rena had a very fun Valentine's Day! She got up and was very excited to open her Valentine's presents. She got a big pink Care Bear, a Barbie in the Pink Shoes doll, and some books. Then Rena went to school and they had a fun party complete with lunch, cupcake decorating, and exchanging Valentine's cards. Then we had swim lessons so it was a busy day. Daddy always brings his girls flowers on V-day and this year he brought home very pretty pink and purple flowers in a hot pink vase. You can guess who was very excited about this!! ;) Rena also gave Mommy a pretty "R" silver necklace. We got Dada some chocolates and a coffee mug with Rena's picture on it.

The next night Rena's school had a parents' night out event called Midnight Madness. Rena was excited to go since some of her friends were going and Mommy and Daddy were excited for a night out to celebrate Valentine's Day! We went out to dinner and were going to see a movie but none of the times worked out (we didn't want to leave Rena there too late since it was her first time and usually she's in bed by 8!). So Daddy suggested we play minature golf since we saw a place close to where we had dinner. I was a little hesitant but it turned out to be such a fun time! We can't wait to take Rena there soon! And Rena had a blast at Midnight Madness and fell right to sleep when we got home!

Rena loved her Care Bears! Her friend Ella got her the little purple one and we got her the pink one :)

Ready with her bag of Valentine's for her classmates. She gave out Barbie Valentines with suckers and goldfish bags. I saw all these cute homemade Valentine's on Facebook and worried that ours would be too plain, but luckily everyone in Rena's class gave out store-bought ones! ;)
