Summer fun- week 6

We started off with a slow week since swim lessons and dance were cancelled for July 4th week. We spent a couple days just relaxing and playing at home. It was nice since we've been so busy this summer that we haven't had much play time at home. Rena really enjoyed it and Mommy liked the slower pace too. We had a low-key July 4th too. We went swimming with our neighbors in the morning and Rena loved that. She's doing great in the pool and was basically swimming with her little arm floaties. After swimming we just relaxed and played with MayMay and then had a BBQ that evening with our new grill. Our friends the Khosravis were in town visiting their family so we met them for dinner at Grand Lux cafe on Friday night. It was great to see them again and meet the newest addition to their family- baby Sebastian! He's a cutie and mommy enjoyed holding him! :) We ended the week with a birthday party for Rena's classmate Justine at the indoor rec center pool. Rena had fun seeing all her school friends and enjoyed swimming and the princess party!

Rena has quite a few little princess castles and she likes to line them all up and the princesses visit each other's castles :)

We've entered the climbing and jumping off furniture stage...a couple years late!! ;)

I thought this was such a cute pic of Rena at Target. She loves it there just as much as mommy...probably because she's been going since she was a week old!!

Rena doesn't nap at home anymore but she will fall asleep in the car lately if she's tired enough. Nothing like a 6 pm nap on the way to dinner! ;)

MayMay gave Rena her old iPod touch and she loves it! We ordered her a cheap pink cover and now she has her own pink phone!
