Mommy is on the library committee at school and we held a tile painting party where the parents would come and help their kids paint a tile to be displayed in the library. And all proceeds from the party go towards buying some much-needed library furniture! Rena was so excited about the party since she loves painting. They had different templates to choose and Rena picked out a cute butterfly. So Mommy traced it on the tile and let Rena paint away! She did a good job of staying in the lines...I'm not really surprised since she's very anal about coloring inside the lines and not "scribble scratching"! :) She painted her butterfly pink and Mommy added some purple accents. Rena wrote her name and we traced it in paint. It was so fun to see all of her friends' painted tiles and we can't wait to see them displayed on the library wall! The kiddos also enjoyed some cookies and capri suns...that always makes for a fun party!
The finished product! I thought she did a great job writing her name!
Having fun at the party- she loves it when she doesn't have to wear a uniform at school! :)
