Fun weekend!

We had a very fun and very busy few days this past weekend. On Saturday Rena was invited to two birthday parties. The first one was a fun girls-only princess party for Annie who turned 3. Rena had a great time dressing up in her Rapunzel costume, painting nails, wearing tiaras, watching princess movies, and feasting on pizza, cake and ice cream! Then later that afternoon we had a birthday party at the Pearland Natatorium for Rena's school friend Naomi. Rena had a great time swimming with her school friends, eating more pizza and cake, walking in a fashion show, and meeting Dora! That Sunday we went to a fun Super Bowl party at our next door neighbor Pam and Eric's house. Rena had so much fun playing with Graham, Colin, and made some new girl friends too! We hardly ever saw the kids and had to drag them downstairs to eat. It was so nice to just relax and watch football (the moms were mainly watching the commercials!), eat some yummy food and chat with everyone. This is the first time Daddy watched a full Super Bowl since Rena was born. Usually she gets bored after awhile and we have to change the channel to one of her shows! :) Of course I forgot my camera all weekend but thank goodness for the iphone camera!

Talking on the phone with her friend Charlotte (who also has a birthday party later this month!)

Rena loved the recliner chairs!

All the pretty princesses (and big brother David!). Annie is the pink princess in the front..she was ready for cake!

Rena and Lily all ready for the fashion show at the swimming party- they were dressed as Sleeping Beauty and Fancy Nancy

The big Dora balloon was a big hit!

She loved the slide!

This is a little blurry but Rena loved walking in the fashion show...she's a natural! :)

Rena meets (big!) Dora...most of you know she was slightly obsessed with Dora a couple years ago so she was very excited to meet her!

Fun Super Bowl party with friends!

Rena had quite a few Capri Suns that weekend...what a treat! She got that princess tiara at Annie's party and wore it ALL weekend!
