Rena has been doing great in her preschool class! She loves her teacher Ms Cheryl and has several close friends in her class- Lily, Elizabeth, Rowan, and Carlie. And the preschool has many more events for the parents and families than the infant school did. Rena loves it when Mommy and Daddy get to come to the school and stay with her for events. Just in the past month we've gone a meet the teacher ice cream party, book fair night, and preschool orientation. The orientation was last Friday and Ms Cheryl told the parents all about the kids' daily schedules, activities, subjects, etc. It was very informative and good to know what Rena does everyday at school! I was surprised how many different subjects they learn- social studies, science, math, reading, Spanish, PE, music, and more that I'm probably forgetting! They have specific days when they do certain subjects and activities. Rena amazes us daily with what she learns at school. She can almost count to 100, knows more Spanish phrases, has learned to color inside the lines, knows the planets, and more!
Rena had fun playing with her classmates during the orientation. Lily and Rena were playing afterwards and didn't want to leave each other! So we decided to all go out for dinner at Pei Wei. We sat on the patio and the girls had a great time running around. They were very fond of the bench out front and spent a lot of time playing on it. The parents had a nice time chatting too. We really enjoy hanging out with Lily and her family! Here are a couple pics of the girls that I took with my phone:
