Swimming at the "big" pool

Last Saturday we went to our neighborhood pool for the first time (this season) and Rena had a great time! The pool is at the end of our street so Rena always asks to go to the "big" pool whenever we drive by. She really is a little fish...she LOVES the water!! When we first got there, the lifeguards said we couldn't go into the big pool since they were doing some testing. But Rena was perfectly happy in the baby pool and splash pad. Once they let us in the big pool, she loved it and didn't want to get out! I think we were there 2 hours! I feel bad that we weren't able to do swim lessons this summer due to Rena's school schedule and our travel plans. But we're planning to start her at Houston Swim Club next spring and do lessons through the summer so she can really learn how to swim. I know she'll love that!
