Fun weekend and Father's Day!

We had a really great time this past weekend! Two of my closest college friends, Aryanish and Diana came to visit us this weekend. We all had a great time doing fun, girly things. We did a lot of shopping, eating at our favorite restaurants, and had a lot of late night chats! Rena just loves when we have people stay over. She already loves Diana ever since visiting her in Austin last month. And it took her no time to warm up to Aryanish and follow her around all weekend! Anytime we drove somewhere, both of them had to sit in the back with Rena. She even made Mommy go in the other car with Daddy so she could sit with Aryanish, Diana, and MayMay! We also invited Jen, and Abu and his family over for dinner on Saturday night so they could all hang out with Aryanish and Diana. It was such a fun college reunion with close friends! And Rena always seems to know when there's going to be a fun night...she took a late nap and got up at 5:30 so she was up until 11 having fun with everyone!

On Sunday we gave Dada his Father's Day gifts- a blue shirt (Rena's idea!), a photobook with pictures of Dada and Rena, a cute mousepad with Rena's picture on it, and some Godiva chocolates. Dada really loved his gifts! Then we all went to the Indian lunch buffet...this is now our tradition for Mother's Day and Father's Day. :) Then the girls had to leave and Rena was sooo sad. It's always been so hard on her when people leave. But luckily Mimi and RaeRae will be here on Thursday so she won't be sad for too long!
