Summer vacation!!

Last week we went on vacation to Barton Creek resort in Austin with Mimi, Pops, and all the aunts. We all had a great time and it was such a fun, relaxing trip! Rena had sooo much fun! Her favorite part was swimming with Aunt RaeRae (Rachel) and Aunt Mindy. The resort had a baby pool and she loved playing in that and watching all the other kids. She also enjoyed "swimming" in the big pool. She is quite the little fish and just loves the water! She also had fun running from room to room in the suite. And she still loves to follow Aunt RaeRae around everywhere! She stayed up until after 10 each night...but luckily she took long naps in the afternoon since she was worn out from all that swimming and playing. Mommy and Daddy got to relax, eat yummy food, and visit with some college friends. Mommy went shopping with Mimi and the aunts one afternoon to Barton Square mall. I used to go there all the time in college so it brought back fun memories! :)

It was such a fun weekend and we were so sad to leave! Rena was especially sad to leave since she loves playing with everyone. The resort is beautiful and made us realize how much we miss Austin. It's so pretty there...Rena kept saying look at all the trees on the mountains (that's what she called the hills!). We will definitely take her back to Austin again soon...we need to make sure she's a future Longhorn just like her parents!! ;)
