All about Rena: Our big girl!!

Rena is growing up so fast and I thought it would be a good idea to list some things she's doing/saying now.There's not much room left in her baby book so I thought I would write down some stuff in her blog. My friend Kendra (Ella's mommy) does this and I think it's a great idea so I'm copying her! ;) Here are some things Rena is doing at 2 years old:

- She can count to 15 now!
- She can count to 10 in Spanish (thanks to Dora and school!)
- She's talking so much and saying complete sentences. Just yesterday she said, "Mommy, I want to get out of carseat, now!" :)
- I think they are learning manners at school since she now says please, thank you, excuse me, and bless you! :)
- She is very particular about her clothes and loves to wear skirts and dresses now. If she doesn't like something we put on her, she says "Rena no like that!" Her daddy can't wait until she wears a uniform at school next year so he doesn't have to deal with this every morning! ;)
- She is very attached to her grandparents and aunts and always asks to see them or says she misses them.
- When Rena was younger I would ask her who's so pretty (or cute) and she would say Rena! Now when I ask her, she says Mommy so pretty! It's so cute and melts my heart! :)
- She still loves to watch Dora and now she also likes to watch Ne Ho Kai Lan and Mickey Mouse club house. She likes to hold up her Dora (or Kai Lan or Minnie Mouse) doll and let them watch their show too! It's too funny!
- Just recently she's starting liking princesses, fairies and castles. Mommy is happy she likes some other toys besides Dora! :)
- Nani got her an easel for her birthday and she loves to write on it with chalk. The other day she drew a half circle and said this is a mountain! I was very impressed. Mommy has been working on her artistic skills too! :)
- She likes school and is learning so much there. She comes home and talks about all her friends. We just got her first class picture and she likes to point out all her friends by name!
- She also knows Mommy, Daddy, and MayMay's first names (and Ella's parents' names too!). She is learning her last name and it sounds like "Pingler" when she says it! :)
- She's very good at doing puzzles now and loves the animal sound puzzle that Mimi got her!
- She's still very social and loves being around other people. She loves playing with Ella, Ashley, Graham and Colin.

I'm sure there's much more but that's all I can think of now! We're also dealing with many more temper tantrums, but I guess that is expected with the terrible twos! :) She can be happy one minute and then freaking out about something the next! Like her daddy says- Rena would be in much more trouble if she weren't so darn cute!! :) We are amazed by her everyday and love her so much!!! Here are some random, cute pics from the past week.
