San Diego trip

Last month we took a very impromptu trip to celebrate some good news- MayMay's engagement ceremony!! We are so excited for MayMay!! We went to San Diego to meet her fiancé Anuj and his family and we all participated in a little traditional Indian engagement ceremony to bless the couple. It was a very short two day trip but we had a great time! San Diego is beautiful and the weather was perfect- upper 60s in June!! This was definitely a pleasant change for us Texans! ;) Rena loved it there and kept commenting on all the pretty boats and "oceans"! She was really sad when we had to fly back to Houston. We are sad MayMay will be moving away from us once she gets married, but we plan to visit her and Uncle Anuj in San Diego very often!! :) Some pics from our short fun trip:
