Rena's 5th birthday party

Rena decided many months ago that she wanted a Barbie Princess and Popstar themed swimming party. So we had her fifth birthday party at the indoor pool at the Pearland Natatorium the weekend before her birthday. The party was super fun and the birthday girl had a great time swimming with all of her close friends! This was the first time Rena has practiced her swimming outside of lessons and she did great! She was happily swimming and playing with her friends! After the hour of swimming in the pool, we headed to the party room for pizza and cupcakes. Rena happily ate her pepperoni pizza and chocolate cupcake. Afterwards the kids played on the slide and we attempted a group picture...which is always interesting! Rena declared this was her most fun birthday party ever...so I guess it was a success! ;) We came home and opened all her fun gifts and she was very busy playing after that. Mimi, Nani, and Nana came in town that weekend for the party and we had a great time playing and celebrating with them. We're so grateful our families were there to celebrate with us and we had a great weekend! Happy 5th birthday big girl!!
