All about Rena: Auntie Diana's wedding

One of my best friends from college Diana got married in Austin last weekend. Rena loves Auntie Diana and was sooo excited for her "princess wedding"! Mommy and MayMay were bridesmaids in the wedding and we were so honored to be part of Diana and Robert's special day! We had such a fun weekend in Austin! We started off with a mani/pedi party with Diana and all the bridesmaids. Rena got her nails done too and loved it as usual! The pre-wedding dinner was at Salt Lick BBQ, one of my favorite places in Austin. The wedding was a brunch wedding outdoors at beautiful Mayfield park. The weather was perfect and the ceremony was beautiful! Daddy and Auntie Aryanish entertained Rena for most of the wedding while Mommy was busy with pictures and the ceremony. Rena had a great time and loved the princess wedding! She thought Auntie Diana looked beautiful just like princess Belle (I guess since they both have brown hair?).

This is a funny story- Rena was not happy that Mommy was escorted down the aisle by a groomsman after the ceremony! She kept asking why that other boy was holding Mommy's hand (our arms were linked, we were not holding hands!) and why I wasn't walking with Daddy! It was too funny! And no explanation seemed to satisfy her. Everyone joked that Mommy could never pull a fast one on Daddy since Rena would know!! We ended the wedding festivities with a fun Mexican dinner at a restaurant on 6th Street, which is a huge street filled with bars and clubs where the college kids hang out. When we were walking back to our car, Rena was holding my and Daddy's hand and I asked Daddy if he ever imagined we would be walking down 6th Street with our child! Haha. We also hit up the Co-op book store and Rena and Mommy got matching hot pink Longhorn shirts. Rena decided she can go to college at UT since they have hot pink shirts!! ;) We had a wonderful weekend and are so happy for Diana and Robert! :)
