Tracing letters

Rena is learning to write letters at school now so we've been practicing at home too. She loves tracing letters and asks us to write out names so she can trace them. She likes to use Mommy's dry erase calendar board and trace with her pink and purple markers. I think Mommy's board is officially the tracing board now. Silly Mommy...thinking she can try to stay organized with a 3 year old! :) Rena has gotten very good at tracing and identifying most letters. So now I write out names or words and have her copy them below. She can officially write her name on her own now!  But she still likes to trace the letters...must be those cute dotted lines that Mommy makes! And it's so cute to watch her think of what to tell me to write out next. Our little girl is growing up fast...she'll be reading before we know it!

This was the first time she traced her name! Mommy and Daddy were so proud :)

This pic is kind of hard to see but she traced Rena, Dad, Mom, Ella, and May (for MayMay). Now she traces much longer names like Minnie, Mickey, Tinkerbell, etc!
