Rena had her first dance recital a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun! She was so excited to dress up in her red "dance costume" and tap shoes. There were over 30 performances and Rena's class was towards the end. Rena and Ella had fun watching the other performances but started getting a little antsy and wanted it to be their turn! :) I was so proud of Rena, she didn't cry at all when I left her backstage or when they got up on stage! They got on stage and had such a good time dancing to Up On the Housetop! Of course they didn't exactly stick to the dance routine (what do you expect from 2 and 3 year olds!!), but they were so cute! I think it was a great experience for Rena and we're doing another class with the same teacher in January. I can't wait for the June recital!
Afterwards we went out with Ella and her parents for pizza and we all had a great time! Mommy charged up the video camera but forgot to take it with us! Luckily Ella's daddy recorded the dance and will give us a copy of it! :) Here are some pics from the recital:
