El Paso trip

We flew to El Paso for spring break to visit Nani and Nana. We were looking forward to a fun-filled week of activities but unfortunately Rena got sick the first night there! And then mommy caught whatever she had and was sick most of the week too! So we didn't get to do many activities but Rena did enjoy her time at home playing with Nani and Nana. And mommy felt pretty miserable but it was nice to relax and be taken care of by my mommy! :) Once we both felt a little better, we did make it out the mall and out to dinner to have an early birthday celebration for Mommy and Nani! And really any trip away from home to visit the grandparents is still a vacation...even if you are sick! ;)

We were going a little stir crazy after two days at home so we headed to our beloved Target! Some popcorn and Target always makes my girl happy!

We bought a pass for the train ride and she rode it several times in a row!

And she picked out the last pink balloon and held on to it the whole time...until it popped an hour later!

Early birthday celebration for Mommy and Nani. Please excuse how I look...I was very sick!

The ice cream cake was a big hit!

Nani and Nana both love ice cream and they love to spoil Rena and took her out for ice cream several nights in a row! At least mommy got to rest and Rena was happy ;)
