We went to the zoo over spring break and Rena had a great time! I wasn't sure if she would like the zoo since she's scared of animals sometimes. And the last time we went to the zoo she was just 7 months old. But Rena had a great time and loved the elephants and giraffes! It was feeding time when we saw the elephants so we got to see them up close eating grass. Now anytime Rena sees an elephant in a book or on TV, she says "elephant at zoo eats grass!" :) She also loved seeing the fish and turtles in the acquarium. We bought a yearly membership so we'll go regularly now before it gets too hot in the summer! Ella's birthday party is at the zoo in a couple weeks and we're so excited! We also rode the Hermann park train again and it was fun! MayMay and Daddy got to ride the train for the first time and they liked it too.
