Last Friday it actually snowed in Houston almost all day! Yes, you read that correctly! :) Luckily I don't work on Fridays so Rena and I spent a lazy day at home and enjoyed the snowfall. I took Rena outside for a few minutes to play in the snow. She wasn't sure what to make of it at first and kept calling it rain! Then she started touching it and tried to eat some. :) I think she didn't like being outside since it was so cold. So we went back in and she ran to all the windows to see the "noooo"...that's what she called the snow! Our neighbor Pam invited us over for a playdate with her boys Graham and Colin. Rena had fun playing with airplanes and trucks but did not want to go out in the snow with the boys!
Rena has become obsessed with Dora now. She loves anything Dora and calls her Doda! We recorded a few episodes and bought her a Dora movie. She loves to watch Dora and it's the only time she can sit still for more than a minute! She has a Dora purse and her friend Ella got her a cute Dora doll for Christmas. Rena loves the doll and carries it around with her everywhere! Dora even goes to the park and goes down the slide with Rena. She likes to feed Dora and brush her hair. It's so cute since she has never really had a lovie or liked dolls or stuffed animals until she discovered Dora. Here are some pics of the snow day and Rena playing with her Dora doll.
